CHERRY GROVE BEACH

Last reviewed: August 13, 2026. Cherry Grove is the northernmost neighborhood of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. North Myrtle Beach was formed from the former beach communities of Cherry Grove, Ocean Drive, Crescent Beach, and Windy Hill and has roughly nine miles of oceanfront.

Visitors come for the Atlantic beach, Cherry Grove Fishing Pier, salt-marsh access, local restaurants, golf, and a slower residential-beach atmosphere. North Myrtle Beach has beach walkovers and nature boardwalks, but the well-known 1.2-mile Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is in the separate City of Myrtle Beach.
