One of the best things about a Cherry Grove vacation is the opportunity to enjoy family time in a laid-back, natural setting. While the allure of the beaches is hard to resist, neighboring facilities like Cherry Grove Oceanfront Park offer a little something “extra” to your beach routine. Make sure to find some time to slow down and take in the ocean breezes and lilting giggles of this local favorite next time you make your way to the shores of Cherry Grove Beach. The park is open 24 hours a day, and space is available for private event rental.
Guests to Cherry Grove Oceanfront Park appreciate the cozy, intimate, beach-side setting that encourages outdoor play and simple family amusement. For the comfort of visitors, restrooms are available on-site. The park also offers handicap beach access and beach showers so that park-goers can seamlessly transition their fun to and from the beach throughout the day. The expansive natural landscapes perfectly complement the coastal locale, framing the scene for limitless views and dramatic photo ops. Bring along a picnic lunch for a midday break with your crew in the shaded picnic areas – if you can talk the little ones into taking a break from the swings, that is! Be advised that cooking is not allowed on park property. South Carolina’s first wind turbine was added to the electric grid at the park in 2010 to promote the use of wind as a power source through the demonstration of turbine technology.
