This easygoing joint offers a more laid back style of dining. You can find peanut shells on the ground any given day and the best-fried seafood you could ask for. It is located just across the street from the Atlantic Ocean, where you can see a view of the ocean and the marsh all at the same time. If you’re in the mood for a true low-country experience, try out their steam pot. This will include crab legs, corn, shrimp, and sausage. If you are not in the mood for sharing try out their seafood platter. They open at 4 pm daily and fill up fast.

Clark’s Seafood & Chop House
While Clark’s Seafood & Chop house is located more towards Little River, we still think it deserves an honorable mention. It is only a 4 or 5-minute drive from Cherry Grove Beach and offers the quality of a nice steakhouse but also fresh seafood. Try their delicious crab cakes or go for their BBQ pork chops. Come in for a happy hour, or just for a nice casual dinner. No matter what you get, Clark’s will not let you down.

The Shack
The Shack has been locals’ favorite for over a decade. The owners are long term friends and business partners, who purchased the restaurant “boots” when the owner passed away. The partners chose to continue with the same style of southern food that made the restaurant a 40-year-old Cherry Grove tradition. It is best known for its quality food at an affordable price, with a fun and clean atmosphere. Experience the fresh seafood or try a lunch special. The Shack is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner offering great food at every meal. Make sure to try out the hushpuppies.

Snooky’s Oceanfront Restaurant
Recently expanded to the oceanfront, Snooky’s offers the freshest seafood on the Grand Strand. The fresh catches are brought in daily by Longshot Fishing. The mouth-watering menu includes everything from delicious Gulf oysters on the half-shell, pan-seared beef tips, scallops, flounder, hearty salads, and juicy burgers to an extensive offering of incredible seafood and meat entrees. Hoskins Restaurant
This long family-owned spot is perfect if you are in the mood for surf and turf, or if you just have a divided crowd. Serving three meals a day, you will not be disappointed in any of the choices. Many locales and visitors make this a regular spot to stop when they are in town. The restaurant has a nice family-oriented vibe with options even the pickiest eater will love. Filet’s Waterfront
This relaxed waterfront restaurant offers hand-cut steaks & seafood plus a dedicated sushi bar menu. Their assortment of sushi and fish makes for a great seafood experience. Try the studded lobster tail, while dining outside with beautiful views. Or if you are in the mood for steak, they are known for their filets, hence the name. Filet’s is known for being one of the best restaurants in the area.
